[Essay 4] Task 2, Essay: Making Changes In Their Lives

People naturally resist making changes in their lives.

This is not new for anyone that people do not like changes especially in their own lives.  People love things which they know very well. Even if they know that making a small change can bring a lot of good things, they are still very resistant. Because of that some people make the same mistakes a lot of times. They are like banging their heads against a brick wall and they are surprised that the wall is still standing.  Sometimes making even small change can do a lot, can change the whole life for better. Heraclitus said "The only thing that is constant is change". I absolutely agree with him. Maybe it is not easy to make something in different way. The most important is to make a change in mind, means to be conscious about a change.

To change something for good we have to want it. It is difficult to change our behavior but it is possible. Every day we should think about it. For example if you want to lose weight every day you have to think about what you are eating. It is important to remember about fruits and vegetables, etc. If you want to improve your English you have to learn it almost every day.

Some changes are easy, some not. Changing bad job for better one belongs to this second category. And no one will guarantee that the second job will be better than the last one. This is the reason why people are afraid of change. They have no guarantee that everything will be better or even just OK.  But with that guarantee the life could be boring. Anyway, the world is changing even right now.
