[Letter 3] Letter - holiday in Great Britain

You are planning to spend a holiday in a country where your friend lives. Write a letter to him/her and say:

- What is your travel route?
- What activities do you plan to do there?
- Ask for suggestions about places worth visiting.

Dear John,

I'm writing to tell you that I've decided to spend my holiday in Manchester in Great Britain. I know you've been  there for 3 years so I'd like to ask you for advice.

I have holidays at the end of the year so I've booked my flight on the 23rd of December this year. I am going to fly from Modlin airport, which is located near Warsaw, straight to Manchester airport. Then I will try to catch a bus to Ashton-Under-Lyne, a suburb of Manchester.

I suppose W, there're many things to do and see in Manchester. Firstly, I'm going to go on a city sightseeing tour. After that I'd like to check if there're any good stores or music clubs nearby. But the most important for me is my English course which I'll participate in on weekdays.

Could you tell me what other fascinating places should I see in the center of Manchester? Do you know any interesting museums or cinemas which could be worth visiting?

Can't wait to see you again. Love to the family.

Best wishes,
Michael
